Well...I believe fall is REALLY here!!  Finally! The temps are cooler, but the days are still comfortable and very inviting!  We have lots going on in our area during the fall.  Come out and spend your weekend with us and enjoy the areas festivities.  We have a schedule of upcoming events on our blog.  Check us out!!

Country Fest

Mark your calendars!!!  This Saturday, October 8th is CountryFest in Mt. Vernon, Texas.  It's going to be perfect weather, so grab your family and join us on the square downtown. 
There will be numerous vendors with a variety of different arts and crafts, jewelry, purses and lots more.  There will be food, a stew cook off and entertainment.  There will be something for everyone, young and old.  Hope to see you there!!
If you can't get enough of Mt. Vernon's festivities, check out the Arts & Crafts in Winnsboro also.  Saturday, October 8th in the Winnsboro City Park.

Fall has a lot of things to offer here in Mt. Vernon....there's always Tiger Football and we have Countryfest in October and on Halloween there's "Trick or Treat Around the Square!" Check out our upcoming events in our area and mark your calendars.  Come out and join us for some fun!!

FINALLY...RAIN!

Well, I think most of us got some rain last night.  Although the hail and high winds some received was not as welcome as the rain, I think for the most part, everyone is happy the heavens finally turned loose with some much needed moisture!!  With the impending cooler temperatures and hopefully more rain in the near future....the leaves (what leaves that are left LOL) will be turning.  Come out and see for yourself!!  Hope to see you soon!
